October is Bar Success Month!

The Law School has declared October Bar Success Month. We have events for students at every level to help deepen your academic skills, get an early start preparing for the bar exam, and to learn about bar admissions.

Oct. 2, Noon - Appellate Courtroom - Ten Steps to Pass the Bar | What Successful Students Do. In this session Amy Craddock, Bar and Academic Success Counselor, will provide tips based on test prep and bar success work with real world examples of what works and what doesn't. Snacks will be provided.

After Fall Break we have campus visits scheduled from our institutional partner Helix Bar Review! They will be tabling in the lobby on both Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday October 16.  Please come to learn more about their comprehensive bar study course that is available to our students AT NO COST TO YOU, through our institutional partnership with Helix. Wednesday Oct 15, Noon - Room 128 - Academic and Foundational Skills for 1Ls | Presented by Helix Bar Review. Lunch will be provided.

Thursday Oct 16, Noon - Room 128 - Bar Prep Tips and an Inside Look at Helix Bar Review | Presented by Helix Bar Review. Lunch will be provided.

The Simulated Bar exam will be held on Friday, October 24th. 9:00 am in Room 164. This will include practice test materials from all three sections of the UBE bar exam. This is a valuable opportunity to learn first-hand what the bar exam is going to feel like in a live, in person, testing experience. Sign up here! Lunch will be provided.

Dean Jordan-Curtis has arranged a visit from the Arizona Character and Fitness Committee. They will be here on Thursday October 30th, Noon - Room 164. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear straight from the source about the bar admissions process and get your questions answered. Even if you mean to gain admission in a state other than Arizona, this could provide helpful insight to you about what law licensing authorities are interested in. Lunch will be provided.
